MAC
About this Mac - Here you will find additional information on your device.
System Preferences - Here you set up specific details about your Mac to your liking.
App Store... - Takes you straight to the App Store!
Recent Items - This keeps of apps you've opened.
Force Quit - This icon will force any current app you have open to quit incase your Mac is stuck on the app.
Sleep - This allows your Mac to turn off while not in use. Allowing you to save battery!
Restart - This restarts your device incase it's malfunctioning or running slow.
Shut Down - This turns your device off completely similar to sleep but when you open it back up you'd have to log back in.
Log Out - Allows you to leave the account registered on the device into a new one.
WINDOWS
Sign In - This allows you to edit what account is signed in on the device.
Sleep - This allows your device to turn off while not in use. Allowing you to save battery!
Update and shut down - This updates the laptop while at the same time turning it off completely. Two in one!
Shut Down - This turns your device off completely similar to sleep but when you open it back up you'd have to log back in.
